Duration of the Volunteering in Europe at The Coopeative ‘Epomeni Stasi’
It will take place from 1st October 2022 to 31st December 2023. It will be a total of 65 weeks duration. The location will be Ermou 26, 54638 Thessaloniki in Greece. If interested, you may apply and work as a volunteer.
Training the Volunteers Will Receive During the Activity
The successful volunteers will be trained fully through methods of nonformal education up to the social economy principles. They will be also trained as to how to work at a social business where employees are youngsters with disabilities. They will also learn the use of tools for promoting social inclusion and cohesion in society.
Another best part of the activity is that the volunteers will also have daily collaboration with hard of hearing and deaf youngsters working there, and they will also organize activities like repair-café space, cultural events, yoga classes, social dinner, graffiti and other events up to the topics of social responsibility and economy, eating healthy and local food.

Financial Benefits
This is a paid volunteering position. The successful volunteers will share the room with one or more volunteers in a shared flat having a common bathroom and kitchen. The flat will be equipped with all necessary items such as cooking material, washing facility, ironing and cleaning facility, etc.
The volunteers will be provided with a bike for their daily transport. The flat is located around 10 minutes travel by bike from the Cooperative. Flat’s expenses (accommodation) will be covered by the organization. Additionally, each volunteer will also be provided with 150 Euros per month for the food and 150 Euros per month as pocket money.
