Varun Dhawan’s October is ready to hit the screens. Post a hit movie ‘Judwaa 2’, Dhawan is eyeing towards another success and ofcourse the expectations from his fans too are high from him. The brilliance of the actor is that he has delivered successful movies so far in his career. He has 9 movies to his credit and all are hits.
Shoojit Sircar’s October is not a mainstream commercial venture rather it has been targeted to youth. The film will surely find competition with Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2, as it has still been going on steadily at the box office.
Shoojit is a name who always comes up with unique subjects and his movies are always content-driven. Thus October too is being expected on the similar lines.
On how the casting of Varun Dhawan happened, Shoojit Sircar in an interview revealed that he wanted to have a boy of 20 years of age. Thus Varun was not on his list. He wanted a fresh face, but when he saw him, he thought that this was the actor he was seeking for.
Banita Basu makes her Bollywood debut with this film. The movie is expected to open well and make good business at the box office.
