The scholarships are offered to the outstanding students from European Union, EEA and non-EU/EEA countries who apply for a graduate program (MSc) at the University of Twente. The successful students will be awarded with € 3,000 and € 22,000 (in between) for one year.

Financial Benefits under University of Twente Scholarships

The successful students will be conferred with attractive funding. The University of Twente scholarship for international students provides € 3,000 – € 22,000 (in between) for one year. The students may also be granted an additional UTS of an amount equal to that in the first year of study in case of a two years study, when they fit to the procedure requirements for the UTS.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

Remember, the scholarship application is a process which is separate from the application for program entry at the university. Irrespective of funding, the applicants are required to get an admission letter first.
The applicants need to be admitted (provisionally) to one of the qualifying University of Twente Master’s programs commencing from the academic year of 2022/2023 (September).
After the applicants complete their application, the process requires up to 8 weeks before the applicants receive the results.
The applicants need to have their student number.
They have not graduated from a University of Twente graduate program.
They need to meet with the conditions for getting an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable).
They should meet with the general English language test requirements academic IELTS (score 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (score 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the sub score of speaking skills.
They are not eligible for a Dutch Study Loan.
The scholarship scheme is only for the exceptional students.
