Note: you should note that the Kipaji Scholarship is not offered to present UT students. This program is also not offered or available for Masters degrees programmes conducted at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Twente Kipaji Scholarship

If you would like to be eligible for this opportunity, you will have to be a recipient of the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS). Also, check the deadline for the UTS scholarship.

If you would like to qualify for Kipaji Scholarship Scheme, you need to meet all requirements of the University of Twente Scholarship. In addition to this, you must:

Possess the nationality of one of the DAC countries (least developed countries and other low-income countries).
Receive a (partial) University of Twente Scholarship. As far as the Kipaji Scholarship is concerned, it can ensure that they (applicants) receive a full scholarship.
Have obtained good grades for their pre-master programmes (average of 8).
Submit their motivation letter that states how you like to use your studies at the University of Twente to enhance the scientific level or for entrepreneurial purposes in your country of origin (home country).

Value of Scholarship

Successful candidates will receive up to € 12,000. It should be kept in mind that this scholarship is provided as compensation for study-related costs. Thus, it is up to the student to decide how to consume/spend this amount. No costs (such as tuition fees) will be paid on your behalf.
