Eligibility Criteria for the University of Surrey Early Payment Discount

If the students would like to apply for the early payment discount, they must:

Be foreign (overseas) fee-paying students for a full-time Master’s program commencing in September 2024, or February 2025 (excluding distance-learning courses, part-time, and the Veterinary General Practice PGCert).
Be self-funded students (must be paying for their studies independently instead of being sponsored. Students/applicants who are receiving an educational loan can apply for this award.
Not be the recipient of another scholarship from the university like the International Excellence Award or the Future Leaders Scholarship (they can accept one university-managed scholarship of the highest value).
Have paid their fee deposit by the stated deadline (available in the self-service portal).

Important Note: This award is not open to students who are from the Surrey International Study Centre (SISC). Alumni discount-eligible students can have this award in addition to (apart from) the alumni discount (they have the option to combine early payment discount and alumni discount).

Early Payment Discount

This discount will be provided in the form of a fee waiver for eligible postgraduate students in the first year of their studies as a £2,000 tuition fee exemption. It will be applied to September 2024 or February 2025 entries.
