Eligibility Criteria for the University of Leeds Undergraduate International Excellence Scholarship

International students, who are self-funding, new to the University of Leeds and enter onto level 1, and they have to be classified as international for tuition paying purpose are eligible.
The applicants should not be the recipient of any other award of University of Leeds.
Those self-funding students, who have completed the international foundation year (IFY) successfully at the University of Leeds will also be taken into consideration for this opportunity.
They must have an offer of a place for an undergraduate program from the University of Leeds within the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering for 2023-2024 academic year.
Depending on the length of the course, the successful students will be offered up to £5,000 or £6,000. The students will receive £3,000 in year one and £1,000 they will receive in their subsequent years (it is subject to their satisfactory performance).
They need to obtain an attainment percentage of 60 percent or above yearly with their all modules passed at the first attempt.
If the applicant fails to obtain the target of 60%, the scholarship will be withheld in a year, but the scholarship would be reinstated the coming (following) year if student’s performance recovers and lands on 60% or above. The students will be conferred with £1,000 per annum of their study.
The students will not gain the scholarship for study abroad year or industrial placement year.
