This PhD program is all set to address the present problems in the hydrogenation of algal lipids. EU/UKRI-funded project SusAlgaeFuel will embed and support this work. Besides, producing SAFs, SusAlgaeFuel works intending to develop a range of unique (novel) approaches based on waste treatment, cascading biorefinery, digital sensors, and multifunctional catalysts to enable a more sustainable and cost-competitive production of microalgae aviation fuels. Therefore, this PhD program appears to be a perfect chance to participate in a multifaceted research venture that collaborates with eight project partners.
