About the Job – Program Associate, Health
An organized and dynamic individual is required to join Salzburg Global Seminar’s team as a Program Associate, Health. The individual will be reporting to the Director (Health). The successful candidate will be a key player in driving the goals of the organization’s health program pillar. This position is based at Schloss Leopoldskron, home of the Salzburg Global Seminar in Salzburg, Austria.
Responsibilities of the Successful Candidate
The following are the assigned responsibilities of the successful candidate.
Program Operations and Administration
- The candidate (Program Associate, Health) will work closely with the Director on the research, planning, and execution of a strong portfolio of health program activities.
- Overseeing logistics that include invitations, participant recruitment, and program scheduling.
- Managing program timelines, making sure that the deadlines are met and materials are prepared for stakeholders and participants in line with the guidelines of the institute.
- Coordinating with internal departments at Salzburg Global, including hospitality, operations, and communications to make sure that the execution of programs happens smoothly.
Communications and Content Development
- Working with the director and communications team on implementing the health program content strategy.
- Drafting program updates and content to promote and highlight the main (key) outcomes from the health programming of Salzburg Global.
- Contributing to the creation and dissemination of promotional materials such as newsletters, blog posts, and social media content.
Network Engagement and Collaboration
- Collaborating with the director on matters like network development and evaluation activities.
- Supporting partner engagements and maintaining strapping (strong) communication channels with the participants of the program, other key stakeholders, and funders.
- Contributing to the robust upcoming (future) trajectory of the health program pillar such as supporting the network’s curation and long-term and multi-year projects.

The ideal candidate for this position is one who has experience in program or project management and who has strong organization and administrative skills. The ideal candidate should enjoy working collaboratively, be adept at intercultural communication, and should be enthusiastic about engaging with institutions and people worldwide. Compensation (Benefits)
- The successful candidates for this position will be offered EUR 30.800 per year before tax and commensurate with experience.
- The candidates outside of Salzburg will be provided with a modest relocation package.
