Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships

For prospective IBA students who are from all non-European Economic Area countries, the applications are open. The eligible non-EEA students are those who do not possess a degree yet from the educational institution in the Netherlands, all set to commence their studies in the academic year of 2023-2024. The preference might be given to the students possessing one of the below-mentioned nationalities:

Indonesian / Vietnamese / Thai
Taiwanese / Korean / Filipino
Azerbaijani / Georgian
African (all countries)
Mexican
Iranian / Iraqi
Turkish

In addition to the above, the university/school could strive for a certain distribution over the continents.

If successful, the students will be conferred the scholarship for the first year of the IBA program providing that the exceptional education record is proven. Since the scholarship is only for the first year of study, students need to be well aware of the sufficient means for the coverage of their study costs to be occurred the following years such as second and third year.

Financial Benefits

The successful applicants will receive the scholarship in the form of a tuition fee exemption and this scholarship covers the difference between the EEA tuition fee (€2.314 in 2023/2024) and non-EEA tuition fee (€11,100 in 2023/2024).
Remember, there will not be any actual transmission of finances (money), as the awarded scholarship part will be subtracted from students’ full non-EEA tuition fee prior to the beginning of the academic year. The students will then be able to immediately pay the reduced tuition fee either in installments or at once.
The scholarship will be provided to the students for the first year of the IBA program only.
