The Novo Nordisk Foundation is an independent foundation of Denmark with corporate interests. It has two objectives:

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant has to be a principal investigator with an independent research group which he or she has directed for lesser than seven years in total.
- The applicant has to be employed as a scientist anywhere in the world, but outside of Denmark.
- He or she has any nationality.
- During the application procedure, the applicant could not have or possess an employed position in Denmark.
- There is no restriction about the host institution, as it could be located anywhere in Denmark, and has to be a public research institution, university, university hospital or other non-profit organization.
- The applicant has to be employed, if conferred with this opportunity, at the host institution. He or she must be employed at a level of minimum 80r% of a full-time position at the institution.

Funding Facility/Financial Benefits
The successful applicants will receive funding facility for their research program. Following is the detail about the financial benefits associated with this opportunity.
