Those African undergraduate or graduate students conducting on research (research activities) in Africa are eligible to apply for this scholarship/fellowship.
They have to be enrolled presently in an MSU degree-granting program, and the awardees of this opportunity have to return to MSU as registered students in the semester following/after the award/opportunity.
Those applicants will be prioritized who have good academic standing and who demonstrate financial need.
The applicants have to successfully complete any Michigan State University requirements relevant to conducting research abroad (IRB training for example).
The recipients of fellowship have to write and submit a report (which should be 3 to 5 pages) to the African Center within the time period of one-month of their return from Africa.
