Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship Eligibility
- The candidates must have 5 to 10 years of professional leadership experience in any aspect of energy or food systems, including advocacy work in these fields (sectors). Experience might consist of but is not limited to government agency representatives, elected officials, advocacy group leaders, community and industry leaders, topic experts, activists, artists, and social and business entrepreneurs.
- They need to have past experiences or present work with their focus on the region of Indo-Pacific.
- To participate or apply in the IPFF, no country restrictions are applied.
- Fluency in the English language is required. Thus, the candidates are encouraged to provide test scores such as IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL (if available)
- Applicants must have valid passports (that should be valid till the end of 2026)
- They must be fully committed to travel for two weeks in October and November 2025, and they will also travel for one week in May 2026. They must be ready for the regular virtual connections in between plus a capstone project to be implemented during and after the program.

Desirable Qualifications of the Applicants
- At least 3 years of studies at a higher education institution sanctioned by a degree representing a full-time study program is preferred but is not required.
- The candidate must be committed and dedicated to supporting initiatives focusing on communities’ needs affected by the world challenges.
- The ideal candidate has a proven ability to work with people from various perspectives and backgrounds.
- The candidate should have the willingness to learn and try the latest approaches and techniques. He or she should be willing to face unfamiliar experiences with openness and curiosity about the procedure, as well as to be challenged and willing to push beyond his or her professional comfort zone with an utter commitment to his or her personal growth.
- He or she should be willing to get engaged completely in an action-oriented, place-based, creatively demanding program.
- The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication dexterities to complete writing and public speaking assignments with higher quality.
Financial Coverage Under the Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship
The successful fellows will be provided with:
- Round-trip airfare to/from the locations of the program
- Program fee and materials
- Travel insurance
- Accommodation

- Some applicable visa-related costs (if required)
Important Note
The applicants are required to provide one reference letter from a professional contact, but two are suggested. Upon submission of the application, instructions laced with a link to the reference letter form will be sent to the referee(s) via email. It is the applicant’s responsibility to inform the referee(s) ahead of submitting the application. Reference letters coming directly from the applicants will not be accepted. Letters of Reference can be submitted until 27th April 2025.
