Call for application for the Justice Entrepreneurship School (JES) has been launched by The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) in partnership with FATE Foundation. As for JES, it is a program which is targeted at entrepreneurs within West Africa who are in the incubation stage of business, and possess novel (innovative) ideas about businesses within the justice sector of economies. HiiL is a social enterprise which is committed and devoted to user-friendly justice and works with a set goal of developing entrepreneurs working on the solutions which address and solve the prominent and pressing justice needs of the people residing in West Africa.

Small Business: Tax, supplier or client contracts, registration, fraud, regulatory compliance, business premises.
Consumer: Purchasing defective goods or substandard services, unfair/unauthorized charges by bank or company, warranties.
Public Sector: Bribery, corruption, access to utilities (sanitation, water, electricity).
Money: Solutions which help prevent or resolve disputes occurred on lending and borrowing money.

Eligibility Criteria for Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL)
To be eligible, you need to meet the eligibility standards. Let’s check them out.
- The applicants have to be computer proficient (literate).
- They must have basic knowledge of computer.
- The applicants should possess a certificate from a tertiary institution.
- They need to have a prototype or MVP solution which prevents or resolves justice problems such neighbors, money, crime, land, employment, etc.
- They also have a prototype or MVP solutions which cause social change or carry a social impact which pertains to justice.

Curriculum and Structure
To help the participants thoroughly, the curriculum has been designed accordingly. It helps the participants become more knowledgeable on the topics of building and sustaining innovative business which can ultimately solve today’s justice problem sessions which are facilitated by different industry leaders across the entrepreneurial value chain particularly social justice professionals with its learning structure, case studies and group activities and a combination of virtual sessions.
Duration of the Program
This program has been designed for eight weeks with a single touchpoint twice a week (Mondays and Wednesdays) between September 26th to November 16th 2022.
