Financial Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a contract as a doctoral fellow for a term of one year. Subject to a favorable evaluation of the previous term, the contract can be extended for 3 years.
Compensation will be in accordance with university salary scales available for doctoral fellows.
As other UGent staff members are offered benefits, the candidate will receive a wider range of training and education, a bicycle allowance, 36 days of vacation leave (on an annual basis for full-time appointments), eco vouchers, etc.
